Action Plan Form? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by wtchtrsh
I wondering what the purpose of this form is.
My manager told me it was to prevent corrective action, but I had to sign it just the same and it basically says I can’t have emotional responses or say anything negative. I’m mostly worried that because the verbiage on the form is so vague I can get fired at anytime because someone might mention to my boss that I had a moment of visa me frustration. I asked for a transfer and was told it’s up to the dm and the dm will probably say no. But if I talk to my dm, she’s not going to take my word over the SM.

Background story is I am shift, and another shift keeps doing a specific food safety/qasa violation. I keep asking them to stop and am now being made out to be a bully, when I’m only asking for someone to follow a basic food safety rule, and now I am feeling like a victim of favoritism. I have been a partner for 8 years and then five years prior to that. I’ve never been in this position before.

From what I’ve heard, it’s more of a “we’re keeping an eye on this and want you to know that” than a “you did this thing, we noticed and this is a warning”.
