Agree:( I’ve worked 6 shifts so far and I can’t find one thing about it to like. Who wants to make my free drink after my shift? Certainly not the person that has been solo baring for the entire shift. I don’t know how to make it:( Who wants to ring up my partner food? Again, no one. No one smiles, it’s a terrible environment. I miss being a customer.

Thank god I’m not alone in this, I got hired on as an SSV never got any shift training so pretty much was just a typical barista for 5 months and I got fed up so I left

Honestly that’s the dream for me but the grass is greener on the other side I suppose

I’m really sorry that something like that happen to you guys, not all of us are like that. If you were at my store I would ring you up and make your drink, because I was in your shoes one day long time ago. If you are not comfortable working at that store maybe you could request a transfer to other store.

I honestly have been thinking about that, there’s a store slightly closer to me and when I go there, I connect with the partners there way better

This job is shit at training period imo. I've worked many jobs, and like you I've never struggled as much as at this job. It's soul sucking. And I'm constantly learning things I was taught wrong a year in.

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience:( at my store, I have my 3rd shift tomorrow and so far everyone has been super welcoming and patient with me, though of course there are some people I don’t feel like I’ll click with right away, but it’s just the beginning you know? Hopefully things get better~
