- partner goes on her half. then the rush starts with just me on till, warming, brewing coffee, running mobiles down (we put them at the
front of the store), prepping & putting together deliveries and my other partner on bar
- lady at the end of the line which took 30 mins to clear orders a traveller and has an attitude when i tell her it’ll take at least 15 mins. she also orders croissants but tells me to assort them? woman just tell me what you want! who in the world sells assorted croissants anyway.
- we got a 13 drink mobile order right as another rush started. not to mention the 3 deliveries and 2 cars waiting for curb side pickup
- i accidentally read a sticker wrong and made a strawberry refresher instead of kiwi. the girl was really rude about it and then ASKED if she could keep the strawberry?? i said “did you pay for it...” and she said no and i took it away :) i usually offer mistake drinks to ppl but since she was rude i decided to take it back and have it on my break :) felt really powerful in that moment
- i accidentally dipped my finger in a drink while putting the lid on it while the customer was watching me and had to remake it. (i would’ve remade it even if she didn’t see because, like, morals.)
- i spilt an entire latte on the bar during morning peak :)
- spilt 200 degree coffee on my hand
- accidentally dropped a splenda packet into a coffee
