My SM and DM allowed, if not coerced, a partner into working after being directly exposed to someone with Covid-19.(self.starbucksbaristas)

At the window today someone told me they had been exposed to COVID this past week. They weren't wearing a mask. After they left I turned to my shift and told her (whilst applying liberal amounts of hand sanitizer) and it just doesn't seem to be the highest concern in these parts. Sorry it seems to be similar for you.

It’s literally mind boggling. I don’t understand how people are nonchalant about it. Just because it’s not probable, doesn’t mean it’s not possible.

“A different agenda” so the Starbucks agenda is to, what, spread Corona as much as possible?

apparently so.

Probably since all the lobbies are starting to open up

My boyfriend and roomate had to get covid tests because they were exposed. My manager, after explaining his political beliefs on how covid isn’t real and that the numbers are just inflated, told me I’m fine to go to work because I myself am not having symptoms. He also told me to maintain social distancing procedures from the person I literally share the same bed with. He mentioned something like ‘imagine at the end of the year you’ll get $1,000 starbucks just hands over to you!’ Which I’m guessing is why he can’t “””””””””afford””””””” having someone take a 14 day quarantine leave. But he basically lectured me for 30 minutes on a phone call, never EVER giving me a chance to say a single word. And then someone at the store did in fact get covid. Glad she’s ok tho
