We should be closed. The fact that it's impossible for restaurants to close during times of crisis to reckon with extenuating circumstances goes to show why this system DOES NOT work. This also applies to the impending climate collapse.

As someone who’s worked in the drive during a bad storm and heard the tornado sirens going off for about an hour, with a bright green sky, and customers asking, “what’s that sound? Teehee better get home to safety but I wanted my drink first..”

I feel that. Went back to work late August in a licensed store on a university campus. We can’t accommodate the students through the app. Four hour wait time for a drink. After all the complaints from students we are reopening. So two lines into Starbucks. One for mobile and the other regular. I have all the health issues that would be deadly to get the covid. Usual amount of students 2000 a day before covid. Rumor has it they are gonna rely on the students to social distance. Just tired of working in stupid town 😒
