Can anyone tell me what is the secret of white mocha syrup? It’s the only one they wont sell me.😭 (self.starbucksbaristas)

It comes in a different type of syrup bottle which is only for distribution to Starbucks if that makes sense? The other ones have barcodes for resale whereas the white mocha does not. Maybe another barista has further insight?

We are only able to sell syrups with barcodes on them and even then some of them do not work.

It’s fine in espresso drinks, because the espresso is so hot that it melts the white mocha, but putting it in iced coffee/cold brew/iced chai means you’re either getting your drink with a lump of white mocha in the bottom, or your barista spent the extra time grabbing a stir stick and stirring it in for you🤢

rather than grabbing a stir stick every time i just swirl the cup with the sauce and espresso a few times to get it mostly mixed before adding the milk. faster and that way customer doesn’t have a bunch of mocha at the bottom

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying, you can do that with espresso, but white mocha in iced coffee requires the stirring
