I had a guy who would come in and order a wet doppio macchiato. And every time I made it, he wanted more milk. Like sir... that’s a cappuccino...
(I know it’s cheaper to order it that way, but dude, just order what you actually want.)

I had a woman who wanted a doppio macchiato but ordered it as a dry cappuccino. I had to make it three times in order to make it dry enough for her. I had to steam milk twice in order to get enough foam spooned out. I handed it to her the third time and told her "I cannot make it more dry"

What it's like to work at starbucks if you break it down to fast food:
"can i have a cheese burger with no cheese?"
So, you want a hamburger?
"no, It's made with chicken."
ok a chicken sandwich?
"no, a cheese burger with no cheese - made with chicken... and, but could you do it with double chicken and double buns?"
So, you want TWO chicken sandwiches?
"no :::sigh:::: look, The other store makes this for me every day!"

I asked her if she wanted the milk steamed and she said no, so really it’s just a doppio with a splash of milk lmao

I’m dead, I guess if she’s gonna be dumb and order the wrong thing then I’d just charge her the extra two but she literally only had to be charged for a doppio
