I just imagine a month where customer connection scores all plummet. Starbucks stocks take a hit. Ovens all over the nation catch on fire and wait times increase.
At the end of the month corporate says “SURPRISE” all those green beans you’ve been training for the past month. Guess whattttt. They’re actually corporate!

Corporate doesn’t care about you!
They never ever ever will. They lost millions this spring and it’s on YIU to make back that money. It is in your sweat and anxiety and tears and anger ...
They will never take care of you again!
You have to take of YOURSELVES. Call in the AC every single day. Every shift. Drink your water. Take your vitamins. Take every single break. Eat good food. Sleep.
Do just enough to get through your shift - no more no less. Don’t argue with customers. Don’t question partner numbers. Take the order, ring them out, move on. Make taking care of your store employees your focus - NOT THE CUSTOMERS. Check in on each other. Compliment each other. Clean and prep and plan FOR EACH OTHER.
Not for corporate. not for bullshit times. not for connection scores. When those things are brought up smile and nod. And go back to taking care of YOURSELF first and PARTNERS second.
Please please please I’m begging you to become def centered and selfish to screw over every single dick decision made by corporate at the expense of you.

Yess! This is my motto. I’m a shift, and my goal is to always make sure my partners are okay & setting up the next team for success. These are insane times. We have to stick together & protect each other.

I should do the same; I’ve lost so much weight from heat stroke at work.. Not to mention, no sleep from the stress, this UTTER exhaustion when I finally crawl home. Our air conditioner is broken and we have BIG windows.

I've literally almost fainted several times on multiple shifts, multiple partners including myself have had anxiety/panic attacks, and because of staffing and hour cuts, were working harder than ever. They have no clue what it's like to work in store.

I worked for Starbucks just shy of a year. I'm happy to put my two cents in to a letter or something for media coverage or even to the big ups if anyone is organizing such a thing. I've seen some shit

Man I mean we are over here working in Clarksville Tennessee so short staffed and multiple people are on a quarantine waiting for there covid tests to come back and don’t get paid for it at all do you know if they are gonna do something to pay for people who test positive for covid since it’s mandatory for us to go on a 10-14 day quarantine?
