How do I make my tea pitchers sparkle! (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by AvoFromCado
I’m looking for suggestions on how to make our tea pickers look like new again! Unfortunately I’m the only one that ever scrubs them🤢

Step one: have your managers buy new ones
Step two: revel in the sparkle
Step three: get rid of the evidence

These ones are like two months old 😪

I second the comment from above about ordering new one(s). Unfortunately, the quality has downgraded so much and they break so frequently but what it also means is that they’re super cheap to replace. You can request 2-3 at a time so you have spares to swap out so they don’t get so gross too often.

Kay 5 sanitizer. It’s food safe.
Let it soak with some hot water.

Urnex I put that shit on everything

Urnex is not safe to be used on plastics. Just as an fyi.

When you wash them, scrub them with a clean sani towel! Like get the towel wet with the soap and give them a good scrub. It’s crazy the difference it makes and is obviously food safe!!

I let them soak for a few minutes in the hot water and just start scrubbing with one of the blue pads. It takes some time but most of the time will do the trick!

Some stains just won’t come out though :/

No no no no no no no no. It’s not a food safe chemical, and it will erode and make the plastic worse over time, even if you rinse. A bar rag and hot dish water will do the trick; if that doesn’t take care of it, you should toss it and buy a new pitcher.

Liquid Disinfectant (aka bleach) is. At least I think so.

But yeah, don't put restroom cleaner anywhere near your pitchers.
