Lmmfao, yo! We had an exposure and never closed. it was so stupid. The partners exposed worked 7 days straight, so management was like “alright, lets get them sent home for 7 days to finish the 14.” Even though the entire store had been exposed by that time.

my store did not handle it well at all. we had a partner who tested positive but the manager didn’t tell us at all. we found out through facebook that he was quarantined so it wasn’t until we hounded our manager for an explanation that she decided to say something. everyone was upset because she tried not to tell us and then said we weren’t exposed even though he worked with half our staff for 2 hours. luckily we got a paid 2 weeks off but now if it happens again apparently we won’t get paid

periodt ^^ when one of my old temporary managers got sick,, our DM ordered our shift crew to quarantine until we found out if our manager had covid or not. We all still got paid throughout the next few days while we were waiting for results. Luckily we have another morning crew that covered for us while we were isolated. She tested negative and we got another temporary manager to take over for her. (my actual manager was on a leave). but sheesh, if they still make you work, that’s inhumane.

Go up the chain and complain to whoever is the boss of the dm. Your store should be closing or taking drastic measures. I don't know why business is trying to stay open before testing their employees when this happens. You shouldn't have to put up with it either. If they do stay open, just refuse to work. It's not worth your health and safety, even if they fire you for it (which I don't think they can do).

I came down with symptoms (turns out it wasn’t COVID but still) everyone i worked with during my last 8hr shift continued to work, no one was isolated other than me even though other stores in our area usually close for at least that shift. I’m not the only one at my store to have symptom scares yet they still want us to open cafe for dining, while the other locations that do usually get a positive case within the week they’re refusing to notice a pattern.

Ugh same thing happened to me a month or so ago. I came down with symptoms and got tested as fast as I could. My manager didn’t seem to be concerned at all. She’s lucky it came back negative or almost the whole crew would have had to isolate. These things are not being handled properly at all.

I ... transferred to my new store when there was a possible exposure. I was supposed to start a week later but 15 of 18 staff were all off. We pulled in borrowed partners for two weeks straight and it was a mess. I am not a green bean by any means but i felt like one in a new store. The SM was a GODSEND and really helped everyone out the best she could.
