You cannot control other people. You do not have to give 2 weeks, it’s a courtesy, not a law.
Who gives a fuck of what they think you are doing or feeing - do what you need to do on YOUR own terms.
Panic attacks are terrifying and if you think it’s busy now - wait until holiday and red cup day. It’s what you have now times 10. Plus pissier people spending money they don’t have on things they don’t need.

I’ve only been a partner for about 7 months, I’m at a very high volume drive-thru in a big city. So...What the hell is red cup day and why does it sound like it’ll be the end of me?

they should cancel it given the pandemic but customers get a free reusable cup with holiday purchase on holiday launch day
Since starbucks is t accepting cups maybe cancelled? Or something worse like BOGO all day.
Shudder

You should wait until the next hectic day. Wait until 3 people call out and they ask you to extend your shift. Walk with no notice 😂😂😂 honestly the biggest fantasy I have. If you don't need the reference 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

50-60 hours? I had to quit cause I wasn’t getting at least 18 a week. What store is this? I would like to reapply

Between work and school! I’m working around 20-25 hours depending on the week and doing school 35 hours a week

Please contact your DM and tell them you are being bullied by your ASM. It is completely out of line for them to make such comments about your mental health. If you're interested (and it's perfectly fine if you're not), ask what other store you might be able to transfer to. While all stores kinds of suck right now, some are definitely worse than others and you may be less stressed/more supported at a different store.
As far as your final two weeks, you only need to do them if you think you might possibly ever someday want to work for Starbucks again. If that's a definite no, then walk out during peak with both middle fingers held high.

That’s a good idea, I’m honestly a bit hesitant only because it isn’t outright horrible, but just enough passive-aggressiveness along with short-tempered, overworked and stressed SM and ASM to just chisel away at your self esteem. The mental health comments though were definitely out of pocket, no question about it. That ASM is known to make a lot of, say, “politically incorrect” things (aka being an asshole) and then blame it on other’s sensitivity. I just think it’s a disregard for other people’s feelings, but there’s not much I can do on that one.

Your ASM should not be excused and should be held accountable so please report it. On a personal level, you are being bullied and belittled at work where you are giving all that you can. This is how you learn to walk away from abusive situations. It is hard to find the strength to leave when you are being put down. It is like a flower trying to grow that keeps getting stomped on. So don't beat yourself up that you haven't left yet or you can't figure out how to yet. It's okay, just observe your surroundings and yourself and know that this is a period of growth for you. Take nothing they say personally. They don't even know you. Pat yourself on your back for being strong and kind. This will be just a memory one day, I promise.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is report it so the next person who has an issue gets a little more weight added to their complaints.

I work in NYC too. I had a similar situation with my manager and instead of letting him get in the way of me and my money I transferred to another store. some stores use a lot of borrowed partners so ask around, cover some shifts, and find a better store.

Starbucks isn’t worth it, besides your direct management being trash so is the corporation on its own. If they’re making you feel this belittled I’d say as soon as you find a new job quit on the spot. That’s just what I’d do! Because they’re bringing mental illnesses into it and I think that’s just not right
