Cold brew refrigerator life? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Yoncesdior
If I were to buy a trenta no ice cold brew and take it home, does anyone know how long it would last?

we keep our cold brew refrigerated for a week before considering it “expired”

Ok thanks. I’m still kinda new lol

I would say it would last less if you don't put it in an airtight container.

Noted. Alright!

Personal opinion, I would transfer it from the plastic cup to a non-plastic container. I may be crazy but I think it doesn’t taste as good when it’s been sitting in the plastic cup for a few days.

Oh ok, would it keep well in a French press??
[deleted] 2 points 2y ago
Yeah, I’d say that’d be fine. I think Starbucks doesn’t use the highest quality plastic and it makes things taste weird after a few days. I’d honestly even trust like Tupperware plastic, just nothing that means to be tossed.

Ok thank you! I have decided against the French press route and I’ll just get free cold brew for the rest of my career at the bux

If you have a French press why not just make your own cold brew at home? Use your bean mark out, any dark roast should do but African roasts work the best. 2tbsp to 6oz of water and let it rest in the French press for 20 hours.

Same as the date on the keg.

Yeah you're good for a minimum of 5 days, id say you can probably get close to 10 days before it goes bad

And if I were to add let’s say white mocha to it would it have a shorter life span you think?
GoldTurds- 2 points 2y ago
Hard to say. WM is good for 14 days so I don't see how it could hurt it lol

Interesting thank you lol
