Just thought that I'd mention how a customer came in last night at my store, and ordered a vanilla bean frappuccino.......with 2 birthday cake pops and extra vb powder blended into it......they had a third pop just to snack on.

We aren’t supposed to put food in the blenders for like whatever reason lol

Yeah that's what I thought, and when I mentioned it to the manager he just sarcastically said "the guest is always right" and mentioned just to deep clean the blender afterwards. To be honest he also did not know if we could do that so I dont thi k were that smart of a store......

I thought there was an update saying that it could only be Starbucks food blended

Some foods can dull or even damage the blades of the blender. Before Starbucks said stop, the biscotti with almonds in it was among what people wanted blended in. So they just issued a blanket ban on food in fraps.

food isn’t allowed to be blended for any reason. it’s one of the only rules sbux is super strict about bc it’s a health safety risk or something and it can damage the blenders depending on the food.
