Bad Timing (tall rant in a grande cup) (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by messybluejaye
Yesterday I overheard my manager and a shift lead planning on rearranging the bar area COMPLETELY. I, for one, am not too excited because I really am used to the setup that we have rn. Everyone is. Our store has only been open for almost 2 years now and we move things around so often. The last couple times we've rearranged things, has been pretty helpful. But now, this new layout is making everyone (so far) uncomfortable. Come to find out this morning that they moved everything last night so we are all adjusting. And later today is happy hour. I feel so bad for my partners that have to come in and redjust to this new set up during a super busy day. Our morning peak was already chaotic, I can't imagine how it's gonna be later.
Hopefully, like with every other setup, we can adjust fast...but I seriously feel like this is bad timing. They could have waited to rearrange things on a normal day so we would have time to get comfortable with the new layout.
