Has anyone else experienced this (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by ih8yogurt
Since starting at Starbucks I’ve gotten extreme pain in my left shoulder. I’m pretty sure it’s from working bar and lifting gallons of milk with my left hand from the fridge but it’s extremely painful and idk what I should do to help strengthen it or whatever.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so did anything help?
I only started two weeks ago and I’ve had the pain for about a week.

I use tiger balm on my shoulder towards my neck to help the pain from my elbow ( my little tendon on the inside of my arm flips in and out and causes pain higher up ) maybe you could try doing that? Also look into some shoulder stretches or neck stretches, cause sometimes the pain can start higher up in the body

I’ve been doing acupuncture and using icyhot so far.

I have tendinitis in both wrists that hurts up to my shoulder when it gets really bad. The only thing that helped long term my was going to physical therapy. I don’t know if that’s an option for you, though. They also recommended taking Aleve as an anti inflammatory/pain reliever which did make a difference for me. I wish you luck in getting it figured out!

Thank you. I may start taking aleve. Advil hasn’t really been working
