My store opened ours a few weeks ago and it hasn’t been awful. It just sucks that they can take off their masks at the table. We have to remind people all the time to put their mask back on when they get up

Type 1 diabetic here, our Cafe has been partially opened for weeks, but I can't lose my health insurance or my Education so I haven't left.

It's always been a matter of "when" and not "if" it was going to happen.

We weren’t even asked if we were comfortable with indoor seating. We weren’t even told it was happening until the sm moved chairs and tables in the lobby. THEN they told us indoor seating was open like thanks for the communication lol

same. it’s annoying how starbucks doesn’t care about how their partners feel. sure we get decent benefits but we are in a middle of a pandemic!

We’re a drive thru store with a very small cafe and we’ve been open for a couple months now. It’s been terrible. They keep opening more seating inside despite the fact that we have plenty of patio seating and there are store in our district that get to keep their cafe seating closed even though they have no drive thrus and are twice our size. Absolutely none of our tables are 6 feet apart and customers sit there for hours with no masks on.

The reason that some have indoor seating and some don't is staff size. There has to be a partner available to work customer support and sanitize the cafe every thirty minutes (ha, like that's going to happen--that customer support person is going to be busy doing all of the more important customer support tasks).

Our cafe was still open when we only had three partners to work bar, drive, and front register/ovens.

Extremely nervous. It's also gonna be annoying to have to deal with more customers not wearing masks correctly. The rule will be that they have to wear one if they're not seated.
