I’m sure this is dependent on state law (and maybe Target policy) but in corporate stores, at least in my state, we are allowed to remove items before cooking (like cheese or egg) but not combine items for new sandwiches (like if they want a sausage sandwich on a croissant bun instead of the English muffin.
