Halloween Costumes (self.starbucksbaristas)

This is my first Halloween in the green apron, and I’m looking for costume ideas! What have you done in years past? Any pictures you’re willing to share? 👀

No ideas for you but the weekly update this week has half a page of costume guidelines

Yeah I read it yesterday, that’s what got me thinking to ask for ideas here!

I closed on a Halloween and brought black cat ears and face paint for everyone that day. No one was planning on doing anything so I told them to wear all black and we were all black kitties closing together.

Did whiskers, freckles and a nose right before they clocked on haha

I’d check with your store manager for any of these ideas first!!!

Last year I did a vsco girl! Put a bunch of scrunchies in my hair in a high pony and wore a large obnoxiously colored striped shirt with leggings (my SM let us break dress code as long as still food safe and reasonable).

Makeup alone could be really fun! Idk if I’d do face paint just because I’d probably sweat it all off and it’d be really uncomfortable. But I’m all down for a funky eye look.

See if coworkers will coordinate! You could be skeletons or like teletubbies (wear the colors and make headbands that have their tops on them). Prisoners would be funny! Wear black and white stripes or like orange if you all have it and you could write “inmate 16833910” or something on your name tags

You could go as the siren herself or genderbend it if you’re a dude - fun mermaid makeup and a star crown headband thing

I always wear head bands so I dress up as some sort of animal like a black cat, bunny, mouse...with ears and face makeup

i'm off on halloween but I was thinking of going as Velma from scooby doo, lol. I mean, I don't think orange is off limits? plus the skirt and socks are all dress code approved. i might pop in on Halloween to see how my coworkers dress, if any.

One last year was a mermaid type; she put scales on her jeans!
