I haven’t worked in three weeks due to a wonky transfer situation, it’s been rough on my finances but I am the happiest I’ve been since I started 2 years ago

Hey leave while you can if that’s how you feel. Trust me.

I worked this job for nearly 8 years simply because I felt like I didn’t have anywhere else to go. When I finally took the plunge and left it was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Don’t be afraid to quit. Your mental health will thank you and so will your wallet because chances are you’ll end up in something that pays much better, with people who treat you better. Remember, you are smart and you can do whatever the fuck you want! I wish I had realized that about myself sooner.

Our night crew is all in this exact mindset, myself included. None of us are happy with our jobs anymore.

Quitting was the best thing I ever did.

People who quit, did it hurt you to lose health benefits? That’s why I’m still there now.

I’m in the same situation. Just using the Sbux health insurance for top surgery, then I’m out. Just hope we both find some place better with good benefits... 🤞🏻

No, it didn't. I moved on to a job that paid better, less stress, and I sat on my butt the whole time. Security lol. My mental health thanked me SO much though

No, I actually found places that work with people without insurance. I quit a few months ago and never looked back. Do what is best for you!

It’s gonna hurt anyone to lose health benefits....you just need to weigh the pros and cons, if you can, keep the job while you look for others. When you find a replacement then pull the plug.

i'm so nervous because i can't really find any good paying jobs and i'm already struggling to make ends meet. i get paid pretty well where i live ($17 as an SSV) but it's not worth the stress anymore. last week we were up 68% in sales growth from the year before and i had to run a 4 person floor at one point with 2 green beans complaining about being on drive thru.

I want to quit so bad but I know I won’t find another job at 19/hr. I haven’t even been a SSV for a year and I’m exhausted.
