You can report your manager to Ethics and Compliance. Your city or county should also have a way for you to report anyone ignoring the mandate.

I agree that you should definitely report your manager. But also don’t be scared to enforce the rules yourself. It’s your store as well. Even if your SM is on front and happily serves a customer with no mask, I think there’s no problem in offering the customer a mask while you’re on bar or telling them to wait outside while they’re waiting for their order. If your SM has a problem with you enforcing both county and Starbucks policy, you should definitely take this up the chain immediately. As an SSV, there are times when I miss these things tbh. I’ll be too focused on calming down the woman freaking out over no seating and not notice the family of 5 with no masks come in. I encourage my team to advocate for themselves. Obviously come get me if the situation gets out of hand, but in general this is your job and your safety and your livelihood and I trust that you guys are capable of handling situations appropriately so that you feel safe. If your manager disagrees with that, it’s a huge problem and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly
