How do you transfer across State Lines? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been working at my store for a while, but my dad just got a better job and his boss is relocating us to Seattle.
That being said, how do I go about this? Do I need to know where I’m moving first so I can find a Starbucks nearby and request a transfer? Where do I request a transfer from? And do I need a referral from my current manager to transfer?

You need to know where you’re moving and reach out to stores in the area you’re willing to commute to and find a store that’s currently accepting transfers. Once you find a store, you let your manager know and they will coordinate the transfer with your new manager.

It's a fairly easy process! Just call around to stores in the area where you'll be moving to and let them know you're looking for a new store. If you're able to take a trip over there to check out the stores in person, that would be a good way to do it! But if not I would definitely check out the locations and reviews and all that on Google or something to try and get a vibe from each potential store!
