It happens at my store a lot and to be quiet honest it’s just favoritism :/ this one partner never shows up in dress code and my manager doesn’t say anything but one of my friends came in with a shirt that had a red accent and he got written up....

Damn everyone in my store switches all the time. No one cares as long as someone shows up for the shift

If your coworker doesn’t say anything about it, how would you know if they are getting write-ups or not? It’s possible they are just keeping it to themself.

I think it’s due to favoritism too. I’m late to work a couple of times a week and I’ve never been written up. But I have a coworker who has called out a couple of times and she’s gotten a write up already.

Favoritism is in my store as well. It's irritating for sure! Just make sure to stand up for yourself when it matters the most!

I used to have a shift who would wear thin leggings to work. She’d bend over and you could see what color her thong was through them. But she was soooo far up our store manager’s ass that he never said anything. Of course though if I or anyone else were to wear leggings it would be a problem.

I know someone who got written up for accidentally mixing the dimes and the nickels in the register. she wasn’t counting or anything, just put them in the wrong place when she ran out while on register and didn’t realize she put them in the wrong place. And I also know people who have been late every single day that I’ve worked with them and have never gotten a formal write up or honestly anything other than an “omg you’re always late haha” 🙃 it’s either favoritism or some Managers are more worried about some rules but not others 🤷🏻‍♀️

This could very well be someone from my store. I’m kind of shocked at how common it is!

People at my store give away free drinks to regulars and their families i did one time and i got in trouble. Another time a coworker was drink coffee in the drive thru and nothing was said and i was drink water on a hot day not even a full glass of water and got told it needs to be taken into the back i take it as some partners are superior to others especially if they’ve been there longer.

My store manager warns some of us for time punches issues if they’re like 30 minutes late but her least favorites get emails reminding us we have two warnings left before our dm let’s us go. from our district manager... Can we get a warning first please?!
