i’m tired and burnt out (self.starbucksbaristas)

my store feels like high school sometimes with all the drama. people are trying to turn other people against each other. rumors are being spread. some people get away with literally everything while others get in trouble over the smallest things. the job is stressful. i hate getting up and going in most days. i just don’t enjoy it like i used to.
right now, i’m hoping to get a seasonal position for the summer and go from full to part time at the siren and see if that makes things better. if not, i’m considering a second part time job and going part time at the siren. i just don’t think i can go full time anymore because it’s killing me

the first store I worked in was like that and I just transferred. I loved my job but hated the people and especially management so I had to gooooo.

Yeah I think going full time as a barista is pretty hard since its so stressful, very easy to burn yourself out in any job that gives so much stress.
