how to do Foodshare/donate unsold food? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by princedinoshark
hi hi!

I was wondering if anyone had information about the Foodshare program or anything that allows stores to donate unsold food. I dont know if the program still exists in my area/at all, so if you know of any other ways to donate unsold food besides through Foodshare please let me know!

I currently work in an sbux kiosk within a grocery store (we're technically employees of the grocery store, not sbux) so I dont know if that would affect eligibility of our store to participate in Foodshare.

Any and all info on Foodshare/related programs compatible with sbux would be helpful. Thanks so much in advance! :D

ps Im not a big reddit user so hopefully I did this correctly ; 0 ;

You would be beholden to whatever policies your employer has regarding left over food.

Since your location is not a corporate Starbucks, you would not be elligible to participate in corporate programs.
