very recently i started working at starbucks. i’ve had three days of training so far. i can tell i’m slowing down the whole store and i hate the feeling it gives me. i know that i barely started and i should take it relatively slow until i’m comfortable and that my coworkers “will understand” but i can tell that they get frustrated. my trainer said that i only have one more day of training before i’m put on either hot or cold bar or drive by myself on a weekend. i don’t know how to bring up the fact that i’m no where near comfortable with that. i just don’t want to be the person that people dread to see on the schedule. i’ve worked in both food and retail before so it’s not even the customers that make me feel shitty but the fact that i feel like i’m letting them down. plus i’m on the bigger side so i feel like i’m constantly in everybody’s way. i feel like i’m always just guessing the amount of pumps or shots or whatever goes in every drink and ik it bugs my trainer and coworkers, since our store is probably the busiest in our district. ik i’m rambling but i just don’t know how to condense my thoughts into proper sentences. i don’t even know what i’m expecting to hear i’m really just venting. thanks for reading :/
