Oh, you're amazingly sweet! If you choose to give a gift card, it has to be something they can share, like for pizza or bagels or party subs or something like that. Or find out how many people are on staff and get that many $5 cards to something (unless you're even more generous than that. With most stores' staff, that would be over $100). If you put together gift bags or a basket for people to choose one thing from, unscented lotions (individual or a big one for at the store), treats, maybe some fun socks, chap sticks. Or if you run out of time and energy for fancy things like that, just a nice card and tip would be very appreciated. It doesn't need to be fancy unless you choose to go to the effort. You are amazing!

I’ve already done goodie bags a week or so ago. For two locations. The goodie bags were full of nice snacks, candy, pop corn etc. Each bag was worth about 15 dollars retail or more. These bags were a thank you.

I’ve decided to give Christmas bags this season. That will be gift bags. Nice little items here and there. However some of the local baristas ( hopefully they’ll still have a job come Christmas ) have been at these locations for a while. They are super sweet and kind especially to my puppies. Those individuals I am planning on privately handing a envelope with their Names on it. So it doesn’t have to be spilt among anyone.

I realize some individuals aren’t going to be grateful or complain items do not fit their “ diets or personal Preferences” but all items are name brands. So In order to avoid throwing money into individuals that wouldn’t even say thank you. Those sweeties * that I have encountered will be getting a little more than a gift bag, at the very least a free meal*.

It’s strange... I’ve wanted to order Dunkin’ Donuts or send stuff to the morning staff. But I’ve literally had some individuals rudely ask me “ why are you doing this !?!? “ as if I have a malicious agenda. All while their speaking about being a libertarian, keyword * speaking * lol.

It scares the idea out of question. Because I personally do not want to buy morning shift some brunch or donuts and have them tossed.

Last year. I gave a Christmas gift to the underdog at one Starbucks. Only to be told one of the mangers was going around telling everyone “ I was crazy and somethings wrong with me or has to be , for showing this individual attention“. I’m already extremely private and the last thing I need is to deal with slander or Deformation of character. For the record I have never met that individual in my life and that manger didn’t even know my name.

I always like to add little practical gifts in my goodie bags. We write on cups in my store, so I always add sharpies. We wash our hands and deal with sanitizer water, even moreso nowadays, so I throw in travel size lotions. Hand sanitizer and lip balms are a go to. If they're into name tag art, maybe chalk markers would be cool.

This is sweet. My mom does this. One year she got little shot glasses and had the team's names engraved on them. She loves her barista crew!

I am pretty sure they would be appreciative of any gift card. I have gotten Target, bath and body works, chic fil a, subway, and even a shell gas card. Loved them all

If you don't want to buy for every barista, put the name of the specific barista on a sealed envelope.

All employees will get a decent sized gift bag. The sweetest and kindest individuals that I’ve encountered will at least Receive a free meal. Because 50 employees is a lot of gift cards. Minimum $500. I’m pretty sure there’s some out of fifty that would greatly overlook the kindness their given. These individuals I’m doing my best to avoid* Also more money for the good ones lol.
