Call ethics and compliance line, Starbucks as a company has this as their policy that masks are to be worn in all stores. Without signage it makes it even harder on baristas to enforce the mask wearing and in general the cases are rising across the US, so it is not the time to be taking fewer precautions.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m the only human on the site and everyone else is just a bot

I have read so many wrong doings from DMs and supervisor etc and it really has me upset because I personally buy Starbucks on a daily basis (98% of the time) and all the baristas are so nice and to hear how some of you are being treated and not getting paid enough for all the bs you guys go thru is really upsetting. Has anyone call HR? I am seriously considering writing a letter myself to corporate. For all or any Starbucks workers, thank you from the bottom of my heart because that one drink makes our day better for many of us. You guys are doing a great job!

One customer saying something to corporate can do more than a whole team of baristas complaining for months. It is sad but unfortunately true. I’m a shift lead and one day my barista is on her 10, comes back and told me someone she is in close contact with just tested positive. I send her home, call my manager and ask if we can close, clean, and go home for the day because we were very nervous about the situation. They said no. When customers came in we informed them we had a possible Covid exposure here but they wouldn’t let us close so stay at your own risk. In less than 45 minutes we were closed and started cleaning because those customer complained for us as soon as they left, purchase of not. If you like your local baristas, please please please voice your concerns and opinions to corporate for them.

This works wonders during a global surging pandemic. Also an anonymous report to your local newspaper, if your town has one, will get all mandated signage back up in a hurry.

Oh wow your DM doesn't care about health issues and safety. Where did they get there approval to become a DM in the first place. Shame on you. hang the sign back up.☺️

Yeah well I don’t like the “aesthetics” of my DM ALWAYS ON VACATION.

If you wanna DM me your district, I'd love to call corporate and complain about the unsafe work conditions I've been seeing as a customer.

I don’t like the aesthetic of the global health pandemic killing more people. Trick ass bitch

My DM did the same thing!

Sounds about right.. the things going on at my store are so messed up...

Dude! My DM made my SM spent like 2 hours during a morning peak to put down the arrows directing where people should go. Then like the week after, she was like ‘take these off. They don’t look nice!’ DMs are the worst.

All you have to do. Is contact your local non emergency sheriff department and report her.

We recently had our DM make us reprint all our posters in A5 because they didn't like how they looked in A4 and move our track and trace poster in the glass to where it can't be seen behind an A Board because it obstructed the customers view out the window. I expect anyone without great eyesight would no longer be able to read our Covid-19 posters now. Mines immaculate and I have to look really close to read. This is obviously not so bad as instructing they are taken down and I can't necessarily argue against it as it's not actively withdrawing information, but I question the true intentions of the choice. A larger poster is more imposing but not necessarily uglier in my view. The DM taking these posters down sounds terrible. If it was really about aesthetics then she could change the poster or how it was displayed... even though something as neutral as that has negligable aesthetic influence in my view. I really hope something is done about this and that DM is sorted out!
