I couldn’t take it anymore. Customers have been so rude and inconsiderate. I’ve worked multiple retail and service jobs and the customers at starbucks were by far the worst i’ve ever encountered. Plus they’re not even trying to be safe during the pandemic. I called my manager 6 hours before my shift and told her I was running a fever and didn’t want to come in and risk spreading my illness. She guilted me into coming anyway. Multiple partners tested positive and yet the store never shut down. I have a 4 month old baby at home and the $9.15 an hour was not worth putting her health at risk because of my jobs poor choices. So, I quit. And it feels great.
