i was in DTO the other day, and this lady pulls up to the window to pay. she pays, i hand her her cake pop and banana bread and let her know we’re finishing up her drink. she takes it upon herself to eat her pastries–no judgment, literally everyone does it while waiting and even i do too. it was the fact i handed her her drink and she IMMEDIATELY gets an attitude because ‘we made her wait so long that she had to eat her food with no drink’....it was a MINUTE. she absolutely demanded that i replace her food items and i was like, no? she keeps on, saying things like “yeah but it’s BULLSHIT that you MADE me eat my food without a drink!!! i’m calling corporate and getting you fired [says my name] so you better hope i don’t see you next time because i shouldn’t be given my food before my drinks!” and like. nobody made you eat your food without a drink. we stated we were finishing your iced mocha so you could have waited. honestly all i did was say ‘have a lovely day ma’am’ and closed the window LMAO
