Also, you want to raise it to $15, but you are not taking into account cost of living. In Los Angeles, we already get paid 15.02 an hour as a barista, but it cost 3k per month for just rent for me for 1000sqr ft. I scrape away about 100 after all my expenses.

Yeah, I’m taking it into account. I grew up in the Bay Area near San Francisco and am well aware of how much it costs to live there. Starbucks should have a minimum for ALL employees nationwide and then consider cost of living in areas (like they do now because you’re already making $5/hr more than I do in south Florida now) in which case that would hopefully raise you up to ~$20/hr.
