i’m consistently getting more hours than everyone but the sm and people are getting sent home but it’s never me. it’s always the same few people who then complain that they aren’t getting great hours. even when i tell the supervisors that i want to go home if we’re able to send people, i’m never chosen.

Last week I worked my first clean play. We got done early so I sent home 3 employees 45 minutes early. I was told to not do that again.

It most likely has to do with the way your schedules fall. In my experience, the next person off is typically the first person cut. Or if your shift occurs during a shift change, it’s often considered to be rude to cut a partner from someone else’s shift.

There’s a handful of reasons why you may not be chosen to go home early. But if you don’t want to work so much that you’re having negative feelings about people who are getting their hours cut, you should seriously consider adjusting you availability.
