Micromanaging manager: Our manager likes to mark the coffee beans to make sure we brew every 30 minutes. She thinks we don’t know, but we do. (i.redd.it)

That’s how you get baristas to throw beans in the trash when you aren’t looking.

Yep, me every night

You should be petty right back and wipe it off every time you see it! Try and catch them in the act too!! And ask about it! Clap back and say, “isn’t this an eco sure violation to use marker on food containers?”

Wow this would grind my gears so bad. I hate that bullshit.

I’d just clean the mark off. Pretend it got sticky.

Literally thought about that haha

Is she like marking the sides to see how far down it should be after 30 minutes or something ?
krenner14 [OP] 6 points 2y ago
She marks it (thinking we don’t see it) where she thinks the beans are before she leaves at 1pm. Then she checks it the next morning.

Lol wow what a hero she is

Lol everytime she marks a container i would just wait until she leaves and swap it out with a different ine. Then if she wants to continue micromanaging she has to figure out how to bring it up without "tipping you off" to the fact that she's marking them

That's what I was wondering??

I used to work at a Tarbucks before transferring to a regular store and was the TL and my ETL wrote where the lines should be at each time of day and would count my bags and check my order to make sure we were brewing coffee the right way. It was awful.
