Hello! I started working at Starbucks about a month ago. My biggest concern is making the drinks. Any advice on how to remember the recipes? Does anyone have study cheat sheets? Thank you!

Honestly, just practice and ask your fellow partners when you’re unsure of a recipe. You won’t remember them all anytime soon. Shoot I’m a 4 year partner and store manager and still have to ask recipes from some of my partners or consult the iPad for the recipe. Recipes also change all the time.
But most your drinks are typically gonna be the same formula. I don’t have a cheat sheet handy but I urge my baristas not to worry about work, studying recipes from home. Don’t stress it, just practice and lean on your team for support.

When I first started I searched around and found different Quizlets that helped a lot. Plus I found the recipe book that we had in my store and took pictures of the recipes I didn’t completely know. Hope this helps!

I’ll ask for the recipe book today. Thank you! I also have looked up some quizlets and made my own :)

What I liked to do that helps is find what the drinks have in common because a lot of them are pretty similar except for the ones that obviously stand out for being completely different and that in itself helped me remember those ones separately lmao sorry if that was confusing

It made sense. I found most hot drinks are the same formula except flat whites and americanos. But i’m still trying to find more similarities. Thank you so much!
