At my store, a pretty heavy trafficked one, we have discontinued the mocha cookie crumble frapp and the caramel ribbon crunch. People try to order it and we politely decline and explain that we no longer have the ingredients. The other day a man goes, " I GOT ONE YESTERDAY" my shift replies "no sir, we did not have the ingredients yesterday" "I GOT ONE THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY THEN" "No, again I was here and we have been out" he gets testier, "THEN I GOT ONE DOWN THE STREET" shift is like "I can't speak for the stock of other stores, sorry sir". Like, we can't pull it out of our asses dude. And a lady tried tricking us by ordering it and then when we said no, asked for the exact ingredients we didn't have to make the mocha cookie on another drink, like to trick us. WTF people

One time I told a customer we were out of the ingredients to make his drink and he said "I didn't ask for excuses, I asked for my drink."

They aren’t discontinued. Your manager probably just decided not to order the toppings. My manager did that for a few months then resumed ordering them because they are core and are featured on the menu.

I wish we ran out of the ingredients to make those two drinks at our store. We don't need them on top of all the upcoming holiday drinks.

obvs you cant discontinue a drink on your own but i get this bc a store about 10 minutes away from mine still has ingredients for the s’mores frap and even recommended me it one day but yet we have literally nothing to do it with. so we do have people come in saying “oh i got it from the store down the road” like that’s great but we literally don’t have anything to make it with.

You can make a mocha cookie frap just without the pieces..... its just a java chip frap. The cookie crumbles dont even add much to the flavor imo

Yeah! We offer the Java chip as the alternative and people are usually happy with it :) except the one lady who insisted we make a caramel frapp "like" the caramel ribbon crunch. We were like... with the wrong caramel and no topping? So a regular frapp? "NO make it LIKE the caramel ribbon crunch!!!"

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet with these dumb customers and just ignore them and say ur making what they want.
