Accidentally sent a picture with vulgar language to my manager... (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by GingerMic
I was getting hyped over one of my favorite anime getting continued, so I took some screenshots of some funny posts I found on Tumblr and sent them to who I thought was my younger sister.

My sister and my manager share the same first letter, and I did NOT read fast enough to realize I sent them to my manager.

One of the pictures I sent contained a bad word, and now I’m concerned that I’ll get in trouble for sending it, even if it was by accident.

The only reason I know now I sent it by accident was because my manager texted me, saying she was confused with an emoji.

Will/Can I get in trouble for this? I already apologized and explained the situation, but she also hasn’t responded at all in like 2 hours and I’m becoming super anxious...

EDIT: My manager finally replied!!! She seems to understand it was just an accident, thank the lord. Thanks to all who replied!!

If it wasn't threatening or directed to her or the company, then she should get over it.

If she feels it was pertaining to her, then you probably have more explaining to do.

The last thing she texted me about was covering a shift in Saturday. I responded to that text, and then when about my business when she didn’t reply.

A little while later I was browsing posts and sent them to who I thought was my little sister, but it was actually my manager.

Nothing in the posts I screenshot had anything to do with managers or anything, but I’m worried about possible repercussions since she hasn’t responded to me in over 2 hours.

Thank goodness. Now to just worry about when my manager will actually text me back lol
