Covid 19 bs ugh (self.starbucksbaristas)

So, I'm a green bean, been in the job 5 weeks but due to high staff turnover at our store, I'm the highest trained barista there (don't even ask). Its UK half term so we're gonna be super busy all next week and now I've found out that one barista is self isolating and an SSV is on holiday the whole of next week so we're so short staffed now, we have 2 baristas (including me), 2 SSVs, the SM and a new barista starting training in a few days..I have no idea how I'm gonna make it through the next week...send chocolate and hugs :((

Think of it this way.... you’re gonna be one hell of a barista and multitasker after this! It sucks in the moment but down the road when you’re properly staffed you’ll remember these times and know that if you can handle that you can handle anything. I was a green bean at a store for its grand opening and only 3 partners were experienced for longer than a few weeks. It was an immediately high volume store and the staff and SM were underprepared and trained. We learned everything the hard way.
