Omg!! The same thing is happening at my store! 12 partners have to quarantine and we are not closing nor are we shorting our hours. Like???? We keep getting positive cases because customers are showing up to Starbucks right after testing from THREE major testing sights near our store. Also our store is the busiest in our district so it’s hard to track down anything really. Let’s just say I’m NOT excited for what the next two weeks bring 🙃
Edit: just got an update a few hours ago, but there’s only three partners left in my store. Another person tested positive. They had to close another store in my district to cover my store

So I worked at a diff store in my district but this store had no one to run morning so we were running a five person play with 3 of us from various other stores. They convinced me to transfer over after the first two weeks. People are livid when our Cafe isn't open and I'm just like??
It's a pandemic? Just use the drive thru? "DO YOU SEE HOW LONG THE DRIVE THRU IS AND YOU WANT ME TO WAIT IN IT?"

Yes! And the employees keep getting covid because we keep reopening our cafés because people get so angry when they're shut! People don't care about us and it blows.
