i kind of hate working at a tarbucks so much i hope others can relate to SHIT management. there are only 5 of us in the store, besides our lead, trained for starbucks. yesterday (saturday) our mid shift called our manager saying she couldn’t make it in today (sunday) so he had our opener there by herself her entire shift with only an hour overlap when i got there two hours early and then i was there alone my entire closing shift <3 he told us recently too that he would never let us work alone on a weekend because they’re our busiest days but of course he <3 never schedules himself on weekends <3 and refuses to come in when we need him. i have so many fucked stories about this man and i wish him the absolute worst.
note : i’m sorry this is so excessive i just needed to rant to people who understand my struggle

I feel this so hard. I work at a college tarbucks and lately it’s been INSANE. On Saturday I came in early for another coworker and later found out I would be closing alone and the afternoon rush didn’t die down all day. Then on Sunday, we blew through an entire batch of mocha and the 12 gallons of milk I got the night before, made 3 frap roasts, had to prep cold brew, and later found out 1/2 closers called out and because I was the mid I ended up staying later to help out. My lead barely orders anything and the only sandwiches we have rn are the impossible and turkey bacon, we’re out of apple juice, out of green straws,

I totally get you. My tarbucks doesn’t have a team lead rn so me and this other girl have to been basically filling that role because no one else cares. They kept scheduling a girl that quit and apparently won’t call anyone to help come in leaving one person to have to stay later and close by themselves for their whole shift. Plus we have to do the order every week which isn’t our job at all. The amount of times that I’ve thought about quitting is immeasurable
