I’m not really sure what car side is, but most Starbucks are doing curbside so you have to go hand customers their food in their car (even when it’s pouring rain). Maybe I’m biased because I’m quitting soon, but I don’t recommend it. The customers have gotten so rude and hostile that it makes everything awful. Stick to a waitressing job where you can get tips or find a place with a set schedule and decent wage. Coming from someone who’s been here for 1.5 years and works at the 2nd busiest store in their district, I don’t recommend it. Corporate workers get to work from home until 2021 meanwhile we have to interact with customers more than ever. If you have a complaint then more than likely it won’t get taken seriously. Don’t do it dude

I can’t talk for the store you are going to, and I like working at Starbucks, but it’s not the cafe feel I expected before working at Starbucks. It feels like I would have expected as far as pace, and expectation from customers of chick Fila or tacobell. Also starting pay depends on area, so what part of the country will help you figure it out. Our baristas start at 9, supervisors at 11

We split tips weekly. So while multiple customers tip big money when I’m on till, I only actually get $0.43/hour in tips. It’s BS
