When you sell so many Hot Chocolates you run outta Mocha! (self.starbucksbaristas)

So a cold front came through my part of Texas when we are used to running 80+ degrees. We literally sold more hot chocolate today than coffee/espresso drinks and ran out of Mocha sauce!
When I tell the lady at the DT we can’t make a hot chocolate, but can make a white hot chocolate instead, she looked at me like I was speaking a different language! Then she started in on a rant about how we are Starbucks and shouldn’t run out of anything.
I just turned the mic off and waited until she was finished. She then asked for a Salted Caramel Mocha latte. Again, I informed her we were outta mocha but could make it with white mocha... she then started her 2nd rant...
Long story short, after ranting for 15-20 min, she settled on a white chocolate mocha. 🤦🏼♀️

At that point do two scoops of Frap chips and pour a little steamed milk over and stir it to make ghetto mocha sauce for her

yup, we ran out of mocha recently too. customers don’t seem to understand sometimes that i, personally, didn’t drink all the mocha myself and i do not place the orders. it’s not my fault we are out of mocha. lol
