When you’ve wanted to cry tears of joy when your shift tells you to go in the back and work on dishes lol

I was so happy back there washing pitchers and kegs

back of house work is highkey the best bc you can just listen to music and don't have to talk to anyone

Yeah I have no idea when I became such a sl*t for it

Mine never had a problem with it either. Tbh I think its cause unless you have it blasting its really hard to hear over the sink
snowflakenecklace 2 points 2y ago
i usually use earbuds bc it makes it very clear i don't want to speak to anyone lmao

Yeah lol but the other day I didn’t cause I’m never in the back for that long. We can usually get away with it when we open too

CS is great but being scheduled non coverage to put away the order or do clean play really hits different

I've been doing CS for like a week straight, my stress has like halved hahaha

Hack: Turn off lobby music, bring a portable bluetooth speaker with you to work, place somewhere in FOH where customers cannot see, use spotify session so other partners can join, queue music, play, enjoy. Only recommend if your leads/manager do not care (which is basically all my leads and manager). Everyone agrees that playing our own music increases moral and keeps us more focused and lively, and puts us in a better mood. We don't care for starbucks appropriate music anymore, we play whatever we want, just make sure not to skip a queud song. Das rude.
