Yep. And a lot of them expect their order to be ready when they arrive no matter how busy we are. So many curbside customers coming inside to get their drinks because "I've been sitting in the parking lot for like 5 minutes"

they'll order it as the pull in and then be pissed they had to wait... like mam you ordered during morning peak and expected it to be brought out to you within a minute???

i've had so many people pull out of or into the space i'm standing in to hand out a curbside... i swear someone's gonna get hit like that. it's not safe.

Our store manager doesn’t like having it off so we have to do curbside even in the rain. People who order curbside in the rain instead of going through the drive through are either astonishingly oblivious or unempathetic

What is this curbside position? Do customers park in the parking lot and THEN drive up to the window?

some stores are doing it!! for us (not a drive thru location) we have a few spots in the front of our store marked "curbside parking only." a customer can mobile order, select "curbside" on the app, then when they get to the store they park in one of the spots and mark on the app they're here and in what spot. there's an ipad with curbside pulled up that dings when we have one, and a barista runs it out. it's. not fun.

No they have designated parking spots for curbside pickup. So they place a mobile order, park (or a lot of the time they park first snd then place their order...) and then hit that they are in a specific spot for curbside delivery for the barista to run out to their car. It sucks so much.

A shift tripped in the parking lot in the pouring rain, spilled everything on herself, and cut her knee. The people in the car were freaked out and checked to see if she was okay (she’s not her knees are fucked up). During a pandemic we need MORE interaction with customers? Really? It’s not safe wtf I’ve almost gotten hit by cars so many times

For me it's a bit of a mixed bag cuz it's either a curbside or dtr and I hate dtr. so I really don't mind it in curbside cuz I get to move around. but, at the same time, I do understand some people are just plain impatient. at this point, most of my regulars understand that it's going to be a minute and sometimes I do get that Karen that gets upset over how long is my order and etc. But yes I hate doing it when it's raining. I don't get much rain protection ya see. Im hoping to get a cubby holder thing so I can hold that and an umbrella at some point.

My store is a DT store & I only turned it on when I had 8 people or more scheduled which was rare 🙄 & then our property manager aka Santa said we couldn't reserve parking spots so we had to stop doing curbside .. oh how unfortunate 😂😂😂🤷🏾‍♀️

And I love that most of them that use it send you back to remake their drink completely because they couldn't add their modification to mobile 🙃🙃🙃
