Holo I am not an ASM. I just happened to hear in on the process to an extent. Based on where you're located there should be classes available for people training to be asms. and on top of that you should be learning more managerial responsibilities like you'd mentioned on your post and all I can say is that I wish you luck in your in your path to becoming an asm and congratulations!

Thank you so much! You brought up a great point. I guess I should bug my manager about getting my food certification thingy (clearly I don’t remember what it’s called exactly). Thanks for the encouragement! Cheers.

Congratulations!! Just know you’re highly likely to be asked to transfer stores because they assign ASM’s based on need and SM/ASM compatibility.
