Going in already understaffed on a Saturday :) fun times (self.starbucksbaristas)

My mantra is that this job will not matter in a year, some people are just miserable, and if others can’t clearly see that we have a full cafe and they decide to order it will probably take around 10+ minutes:)
And for the others who’ve been mobile ordering since the dawn of time at my store and you’ve still haven’t grasped that concept that during a certain on Saturday’s it’s busy, I implore you to apply to your our store since it seems you can make drinks in under 20 seconds and we could really use you :)))

~ Not sarcastic btw ~ seriously tho, thats the spirit! just let the cars circle the building. let the mob form inside. its literally *not your fault.* When you are doing the best you can with what you are given, forgive yourself. Just watch in awe as the crowds moods ebb and flow. 'Oh look that guys mad! Must be Frank. I set that sticker aside 10 minutes ago so i could cook 6 wraps in the 2 ovens one at a time.'

Just take it easy today. Those mf customers are simply gonna have to wait and when they make that decision to order they know when they are placing the order that they will have to wait. Make each drink right so people don’t attempt to come back and get a remake and move along with your day. I’ve been there before and stressing about it will make it worse. All will be fine in the end :)

I feel you. Our scheduling is already bare bones and someone called out today. I don't bar often during peaks, but I was doing cafe/mobile drinks. Fuck was it bad. People were waiting 20 minutes while I lost my mind for several hours. Thankfully someone finally had the bright idea to turn off Uber orders halfway through the rush.
Thankfully us morning crew survived! I hope yours did too! And that goes to everyone here.
