Your average 50+ something “travel for work” guy comes in, no mask, doesn’t acknowledge my greeting and asking if he had his mask, I repeat 2 times before he comes up and fakes scrambling to look for mask like I’m making a huge deal (we’re behind a bar, y’all understand the horrible acoustics) and ends saying that “people like me are making the world worse.”

To which I responded “my mom says otherwise” bc honestly how can you argue w/ that

Tl;dr do YOUR store managers have a policy in place for people refusing to wear a mask but remaining inside? He eventually put on our disposable one but... what if he didn’t? Do we just say “yessir” and pray?

We take their order and ask them to wait outside. Which is not enough, if you ask me, but I'm not in charge.

Wow yeah, I feel like even if I politely asked that he wouldn’t have complied. I just hate that the resort is to baby them and allow them to put everyone at risk because they wanted to throw a tantrum while getting a 5am coffee shake. I wish we never opened the stores back up. 😭

Or just had drive thru open. Those were the days. 😄

Oh my LORD those were brilliant days!!!!!!!

We do the same, or ask them to use the Drive Thru.

This is the one thing I'm thankful to my SM for. Were allowed to tell them to leave. DM says we have to take their order outside but he's backed us up on this, to my surprise

No one really fights with us thankfully but everyone sm and all shifts make it a point to tell customers to keep it above their knows, not to pull it down, and they can’t enter without one
