For me I learn by actually doing the drink or at least watching someone make it. So if it’s a bit calmer try to either watch someone make a drink or do it yourself but make sure the shift is okay with it because sometimes they want you to stay where you are. Or ask to be put on bar more when it’s not as busy so you can get practice.

Just take some deep breaths you’re not gonna learn the drinks in 1 day. If you have issues look at the register it will tell you what goes in the drink. Most drinks are all pretty similar. You’re supervisors should not be heckling you after a day or two. I’ve been working for the bux for 3 years and sometimes I still mess up drinks. It happens.

tell your training barista to get a grip.

if you want, the pos can be a really good study guide if you're planted but not busy! tap any drink and look at the tabs up and down the right side; they break down the ingredients in any drink. that's where almost everyone in my store goes if they aren't sure about a recipe!
