Best way to quit? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I started in August. I’m really grateful that I got offered the job in the first place. My SM has been super sweet, and I love my coworkers. I’ve been doing well, I’m comfortable and efficient in all positions, but I’m just burnt out. Something about this job is draining. I feel like crying after my shifts and my body aches like crazy. I feel like leaving now is bad timing but I just don’t know if I can do it. I want to look for another job, hopefully full time.

Hi there. I 100% feel you. I started in august as well. I used to work 8 hours shifts at my old job but my 4 hour starbs shifts drain the life out of me. I would email your manager, keep it short & sweet and give you two weeks. Depending on your financial situation you may want to wait until you have interviews for a new job lined up, especially with the election on tuesday (if you’re in the US).
