Starbucks customer Facebook groups scare me (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by i_jlp_you
I’m in several Starbucks related groups on Facebook, most of them are meant to be for baristas, but recently I joined the Starbucks recipe group just to see what it was like. There were actual attempts to get baristas fired because some don’t like the fact that baristas rant about the job. I completely understand that posting anything and everything online isn’t smart and there should be caution, but like dang, I was only in that group for two days and I’m concerned that someone’s gonna take my words out of context and try to get me fired out of spite. It shouldn’t even be that much of a concern for me, I’m quite harmless on the internet. My “edgiest” Starbucks jokes and comments are pg-13 at most.

That’s why I always keep my Facebook on locked. And only certain people can see what I share or know where I work. That’s why I enjoy reddit as you can post away and not get in trouble as long as you don’t got your name or blast personal info.
