Does my SM have to tell us (or close the store, or take any other action) if a partner is out (and in the hospital) with COVID? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m not going into specifics because I don’t want to get in any trouble, I’d just like to know if there’s any starbucks policy about it.

I don’t think they legally have to, but morally obviously they should. But we all know morality isn’t a strength of starbs so the lies and coverups must go on

Your sm doesn’t have to close the store, but all the partners who worked with the person (who tested positive) need to go on a 2 week isolation period. This may mean they need partners from other stores to cover but the store does not need to close.

It depends on if they worked while symptomatic
