So I was hired at Starbucks before covid hit, so I only got trained for two days and then they put me on leave, there’s a couple dd hiring around me and most likely would hire me, would I get in trouble working at a dd? Until Starbucks calls me in for hours and All (they said the latest they would call me is March.)

You cannot work for a direct competition while being employed by Starbucks. So yea it would be a problem.
Also I’ve worked for DD and it’s a version of hell worse than Starbucks (also worked for them). I’d try to find literally any other job than at Dunkin’s

Curious how about working at a license store as a second job? As when my college do open back up I do want to work for the coffee shop just to improve on my skills as I’m a new Barista.

Licensed stores are owned and operated by someone besides Starbucks. Most corporate managers will not allow you to work at both.

I see as my friend was able to do that

Some managers don’t see it as an issue. My manager has made partners choose between the two locations and was backed up by corproate when the partners in question tried to complain.

I've worked 8 years at multiple dds before starbucks, trust me, don't work there it sucks so much, you get less benifets, pay, and respect all in one and even the customers are worse

Talk to your SM first, but it should be okay as long as you are not in a management position, especially if you are on leave because your store is closed.
